Lin’s Skincare Routine

December 20, 2018

I wanted to hop on here and share a little secret with all of you!  Since I announced my pregnancy EVERYONE has been telling me I am glowing.  I have been getting so many compliments on my skin. Even though I am so thrilled about baby girl, I have to admit I suspect the glow is actually from my skincare routine!  So, now that the secret is out I want to take you through the products I love so much.

I first heard about Drunk Elephant through a friend.  She wanted me to try the brand because she swore by the products!  After everything I had been through the past few years with IVF, Endometriosis, and all of the chemicals I had going through my body,  I knew I needed to find something that would be healthy, natural, and good for my skin. So I gave it a try and haven’t looked back since.

I always encourage people to do research themselves on brands. If you read about Drunk Elephant you’ll find that all of their products are free of what their founder dubbed the “Suspicious 6”.  These 6 ingredients include silicones, essential oils, fragrance/dyes, drying alcohols, SLS and chemical/synthetic sunscreens and are found in so many products that we put on our bodies and face.  Once eliminated from a skincare routine, your skin is free to go back to a natural and balanced state! I definitely recommend reading more about the brand here. It is a great story about how the company was founded, the story behind the name (lol), and what makes their products so great!

I separated the products into my morning and night routines. Their entire line, with the exception of the Babyfacial, are safe to use while pregnant!

Everyone I know that has tried Drunk Elephant has instantly turned into a fan.  In fact, I would say a majority of The All Things Refined team use all of these products!  I hope you give these a try if you haven’t already. I am a true believer in taking care of your skin!

Let me know what your favorite Drunk Elephant products below!
